Patricia L. Brooks is the president/founder of Scottsdale Society of Women Writers. She started the group 12 years ago and maintains a membership of 75 women who meet once a month for dinner and a professional speaker.
She is also president/founder of Brooks Goldmann Publishng Company, LLC and has had this company with her husband for 12 years. The link is noted above.
Patricia is an award winning author of two memoirs: "Gifts of Sisterhood - journey from grief to gratitude" and "Three Husbands and a Thousand Boyfriends."She is now polishing her third memoir to launch in 2018. She starts a fourth nonfiction book in January.
She facilitates workshops on such topics as writing memoir, marketing books and self-publishing. She also offers grief workshops and inspirational talks for those wanting to learn of her advocacy work for Domestic Violence Awareness.
Patricia lives in Old Town Scottsdale with her husband, author Earl L. Goldmann. She has been in Arizona for over 40 years. They will be in the Nonfiction Indie Author Pavilion from 12:15 to 2:15 pm Sunday here at the TFOB.
