Margaret Boone Rappaport & Co-Author Christopher J. Corbally


Margaret Boone Rappaport, PhD, (Co-Author of "Space Science and Astronomy Theatre") is a cultural anthropologist and biologist who works in the area of Science and Religion, and as a futurist, lecturer and both fiction and nonfiction writer in Tucson, Arizona. Her current interests focus on the origins of moral and religious capacities on the genus Homo. As President, Policy Research Methods, Incorporated, Falls Church, Virginia, she was a contractor to federal and state agencies for over twenty years. She lectured in anthropology and sociology at Georgetown and George Washington Universities. She earned her doctorate in Cultural Anthropology at The Ohio State University in 1977, and is author of "Computer Applications for Anthropologists," with John Wood. Dr. Rappaport is also a prize-winning short story and poetry writer.

Christopher J. Corbally, SJ, PhD (Co-Author of "Space Science and Astronomy Theatre") is a Jesuit priest and an astronomer with the Vatican Observatory Research Group, for which he has served as Vice Director, and liaison to its headquarters at Castel Gandolfo, Italy. He is an Adjunct Associate Astronomer at the Department of Astronomy, University of Arizona, and ministers to a wide variety of Catholics, including Native Americans, in Tucson, Arizona. He earned his doctorate in Astronomy at the University of Toronto in 1983. His research interests include the formation and evolution of stars, and topics in science and religion. With Richard O. Gray, he is author of "Stellar Spectral Classification."
