Ed Weinberger is a television screenwriter and producer who's won nine Emmy Awards, three Golden Globe Awards, a Peabody Award and a Writers Guild of America Lifetime Achievement Award. He's written for stand-up comedians Dick Gregory and Richard Pryor, the Tonight Show starring Johnny Carson, the Mary Tyler Moore Show, Taxi and the Associates. Weinberger is coauthor with Ed Asner of "The Grouchy Historian: An Old-Time Lefty Defends Our Constitution Against Right-Wing Hypocrites and Nutjobs."
