The Tucson Festival of Books is a celebration that includes entertainment venues across the University of Arizona Mall.
The Tucson Festival of Books welcomes performers of all types to become part of the 2015 Festival. We are accepting applications from acts of all kinds with an interest in performing on one of our outdoor entertainment stages.
Entertainers who perform are not compensated by the Festival; however, we will publish a schedule of entertainment on our website, in the Arizona Daily Star and via mobile applications related to the event. Festival entertainers may be highlighted in our e-newsletter; we will promote entertainers via social media (and encourage Festival performers to do likewise).
During the scheduled performance, a group is welcome to provide promotional materials and sell CD's or other items related to the performance (all business licensing, tax collection and remittance are the responsibility of the seller).
There are nearly 40 spaces available for entertainment during Festival weekend. The Entertainment Committee will review all applications and determine the day, time and location of performances during the Festival.
Information related to entertainment applications will be emailed in late August.
