Online Tickets for Selected Venues

  2. Student Union Gallagher Theater (seats 340)
  3. Koffler Room 204 (seats 304)
  4. Integrated Learning Center Room 120 (seats 300)
  5. Modern Languages Room 350 (seats 318)

All other venues will be available on a first-come, first-seated basis


  • All tickets are reserved through the Tucson Festival of Books website
  • A maximum of two tickets per person per event are available
  • Tickets are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis
  • Friend of the Festival members at and above the $125 donation levels may access tickets on Wednesday, February 20 at noon (Mountain Standard Time); an email with instructions on how to secure tickets will be delivered on February 20 - ticket availability is based on contribution amount
  • The general public may access tickets beginning at 12 noon Mountain Standard Time on Monday, February 25 - only two tickets may be reserved per 24-hour period (Monday through Friday)
  • When all tickets for an event have been distributed, no additional tickets will be released
  • Electronic ticketing ends on Friday, March 1 at noon
  • A percentage of the seats in each venue will be withheld for stand-by patrons arriving the day of the presentation

Additional information related to tickets:

  • Any tickets remaining after the on-line reservation period will be added to the stand-by distribution portion offered the day of the presentation
  • Festival volunteers will assist guests with information; signage will be placed at each ticketed venue
  • To speed the access process, those holding tickets must show an electronic or printed copy of the ticket to access the venue
  • Lost tickets are not problematic as volunteers will be able to assist on-site
  • Ticket-holders who are at the venue 20 minutes in advance of the presentation will be guaranteed entry
  • Tickets are not returnable; however, you may transfer tickets to other patrons
  • Free tickets have no cash value and may not be sold
  • By entering the electronic ticket reservation system, you understand that you will receive additional communication from the Festival including emails which contain the ticket(s); you may receive a participation survey to complete following the Festival
