Festival Staff / February 1, 2016
We’re less than a month and a half away from the Tucson Festival of Books, and those who work behind the scenes are gearing up to go. Volunteers have been preparing materials, attendees have been planning their schedules, and authors are priming for an intense two days!
Not only will there be author panels and workshops for all ages, but Science City is returning, and there will be countless familiar and new faces there on the multiple entertainment stages across the University of Arizona Mall. And the food! We can’t forget the food. Be sure to keep up with information about tickets for popular events (the newsletter is your friend, as are Facebook and Twitter).
The Festival is always rough for me, because I want to be everywhere at once. This year will be no different. We’re going to have some big names there, and some less-known authors who are just as important to me. But I still can’t wait! I’m sure many readers have similar feelings.
Stay tuned for more from the TFOB Blog, including author interviews, panel profiles, and more from your Festival Staff.
The Tucson Festival of Books will be held on Saturday, March 10 and Sunday, March 11, 2018, on the beautiful University of Arizona campus in Tucson, Arizona. The Festival enters its tenth year as one of the premier literary events in the country. All proceeds from the Festival are donated to local non-profit organizations that support improved literacy in Southern Arizona. More than $1,455,000 has been donated since the Festival began in 2009.
