Author Spotlight: Adam Rex

Festival Staff / January 1, 2019

Last week's author spotlight hint: What rhymes with orange?

If you figured out last week's author spotlight hint, then you know that this week's author spotlight is on Adam Rex, who is probably the coolest childrens' book author/illustrator in Tucson (and quite possibly in the world). He is responsible for countless childrens' stories including "Nothing Rhymes with Orange," "the Cold Cereal Saga," "Are You Scared, Darth Vader?" and many more. Perhaps most famously, he is the mastermind behind the movie Home which is based on Rex's middle-grade novel, "The True Meaning of Smekday."

Make sure you see Adam at the 2019 festival, and check out his super weird / awesome website here.

Hint for the next featured author: When are you going to figure out who next week's author is??? When tigers fly!
