The Hacienda at the Canyon Hosts Author Events for the Festival

Festival Staff / September 1, 2019

Are you a Friend of the Festival or a Festival Sponsor? The Hacienda at the Canyon is bringing in authors throughout the year to do special presentations for our supporters! Join them on Wednesday, October 23rd at 6:00 p.m. for a presentation with 2019 festival author A.J. Flick, author of "Toxic Rage: A Tale of Murder in Tucson." This book is the true story of the Brian Stidham murder case, as told by A.J. Flick, the Tucson Citizen reporter who covered the entire case. She leads you through all the tangled webs and intersecting lives and outlines the case’s complex twists and turns, culminating in its final conclusion. Truth is indeed stranger than fiction.

This event is open to our current Friends of the Festival, Sponsors and to those who volunteered at the 2019 festival. Want to learn how to become part of this select group? Click here to learn about ways to support the festival.

Are you already a festival supporter, Literacy Connects supporter or did you volunteer in for the Tucson Festival of Books in 2019? You're eligible to attend! You will receive an email with instructions on how to RSVP within the next month.

The Hacienda at the Canyon is a new, high-end retirement community located in Sabino Canyon. A Watermark Community, it is one of three new retirement communities that the company has opened/is opening in Tucson in the near future. They are also wonderful supporters of literacy in Tucson, supporting both the festival of books and our partner Literacy Connects! Special thanks to them for everything they do for the community.
