Where Do Your Donations to the Festival Go?

Festival Staff / September 1, 2019

After the tents are down and the authors have all flown home to work on their next best sellers, the festival is still doing important work in the community thanks to its donors. Your gifts over the past ten years have helped us provide essential support to several important programs in the community that have a positive impact on literacy rates in Southern Arizona. Literacy Connects, Reading Seed and the University of Arizona's Literacy Outreach Programs have helped thousands of local people improve their literacy skills.

This support is vital and uplifts our entire community. Without our donors, the festival wouldn't be possible, nor would these life-changing outcomes. Thank you so much to our sponsors, our Friends of the Festival and our volunteers.

Are you interested in seeing what supporting literacy in the community can do? We'd love for you to be able to experience for yourself the good work that your gifts make possible! Literacy Connects is hosting several information sessions throughout the year where you can get a deeper look into their programs. Click here to learn more or to RSVP for an information session.
