William deBuys

DeBuys’s seven books include "A Great Aridness: Climate Change and the Future of the American West," "River of Traps," (a 1991 Pulitzer finalist), "The Walk" and "Salt Dreams." As a conservationist, he has helped protect more than 150,000 acres in New Mexico, Arizona and North Carolina.
