Here's part of an e-mail from one of our 2011 Tucson Festival of Books presenting authors, Charles de Lint, and his wife and musical collaborator, MaryAnn Harris:
"I'd like to share with you a bit of post-festival inspiration that took place during the following week in Tucson. MaryAnn and I just released CDs in March, and our producer asked us to film footage in the desert in the hopes of creating a music video for my album.
"The video came out on March 29th, and as of now it's already had approximately 1200 viewings on YouTube. Reading the comments on YouTube and Facebook, it's clear that many people love the desert setting and the lyrics. I wrote this song in Tucson a few years ago. Without you, this video wouldn't exist. I hope you enjoy it:"
