Friends of the Festival hit the ground running with its inaugural author event on December 9th at UA BookStores SUMC location. Close to 100 people listened as local best-selling authors (and Tucson Festival of Book supporters) Jennifer Lee Carrell, Nancy Turner, and Bonnie Marson discussed "History in Fiction" with moderator Jillian Cantor.
Volunteers from the UA and TFOB were busy with guests, and National Charity League members supplied free gift wrapping. The staff at UA BookStores provided a lovely shopping experience that included a significant discount on books.
