Diana Porter

Friends of the Festival

Diana Porter teaches various literacy courses, including Adolescent Literature and Resources, at Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond. She attributes her lifelong love of children’s/adolescent literature to her parents who read to her, modeled reading in the home, and valued education. She has, in turn, shared her love of books with her own children, ten classes of fifth graders, and multiple teacher candidates. Now a grandmother of two, she eagerly embraces the opportunity to put her personal library to good use by reading to and with her darling grandson and granddaughter.
