Arroyo Cafe Players

Meet the Players: Dave Fitzsimmons, host of the Old Pueblo Radio Show, always dreamed of reviving the Tucson Press Club's annual Gridiron Shows. Along with his chums in the Sweatlodge comedy troupe, Elliott Glicksman and Nick Seivert, his cast of talented Arroyo Cafe Players and musicians, he has produced a spectacular variety show modeled after Garrison Keillor's "Prairie Home Companion." Complete with recurring characters, great local music, great local entertainers and great local celebrities willing to laugh at themselves. This special edition of the Arroyo Cafe is coming to you live from Tucson Festival of Books! All songs and jokes are about books and the wacky things authors do!

At the Festival, listen to this old-fashioned radio variety show, starring Dave Fitzsimmons, Marty Bishop, Mindy Ronstadt and the One-Bill Band, the Arroyo Cafe players, and a special visit from a surprise guest and your favorite TFOB authors.
