Mathematical Perspectives of Children's Books
Instead of asking how stories can help readers learn math, this sessions explores how math can help readers better understand stories. Experience this shift in thinking through simulations that uncover mathematical inquiries embedded (often unintentionally) in picture books and learn ways to help childrens use math to better comprehend literature.
