Robert Crais is the number one New York Times best-selling author of more than 20 crime novels, including the Elvis Cole novels and numerous standalone thrillers. A native of Louisiana, he grew up on the banks of the Mississippi River in a blue-collar family of oil refinery workers and police officers, and now makes his home in Los Angeles.

His work is published in more than 40 countries and has received numerous awards including the Anthony Award from the World Mystery Convention, a Macavity Award from Mystery Readers International, the Ross Macdonald Literary Award, and the Mystery Writers of America Grand Master Award. His latest book is "The Wanted."
