Janet Bentley

Janet Bentley is an author and campaigner for survivors of child sexual abuse. Bentley is a member of RAINN’s Speakers’ Bureau, a facilitator of Darkness to Light’s Stewards of Children training and the author of her memoir, "Don’t Expect Me to Cry,” published in October 2018.

Bentley's driving passion is to prevent child sexual abuse and be a lifeline to survivors. She has found that sharing her story has been key to healing her own pain and exposing this epidemic.
