Ranch Preservation Foundation is a nonprofit devoted to the preservation of dude ranching and historic ranches. We have self-published a coffee table book to celebrate the centennial of the Dude Ranchers' Association titled "100 Years of Dude Ranching" with photography by Arizona Western photographer Scott T. Baxter. The book explores modern dude ranching at these historic ranches as captured over the course of a year; paired with historic information to see how each ranch has changed over a century. A history of the DRA and dude ranching written by historian Lynn Downey also chronicles the story of dude ranching. We are interested in a booth to retail our books at the 2026 Tucson Festival of Books.
