The Festival is coming up quickly and we're getting excited!
In preparation for the big weekend, there will be a two-part Children/Teen Volunteer Orientation on Saturday, March 2, beginning at 8:30 am. This orientation will help you feel prepared for the Festival and give you an opportunity to meet and interact with Festival organizers and other volunteers.
More information will be sent out about this walk-through next week. However, if you are unable to attend the March 2 Walk-Through, you are welcome to attend the Walk-Through this weekend on Sunday, February 25th. It will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the "Canyon" > the large walkway between the UA BookStore and Student Union. Here is a UA Campus Map. WHY A WALK-THROUGH? When you wear a Volunteer t-shirt, you will be asked questions about the festival-at-large. The walk-through will provide you with some basic info so that you can help us provide a premier experience for festival goers. PLUS, you will learn to use the free TFOB phone app, making getting around much easier for you and others! (Go to iStore/Playstore and search for Tucson Festival of Books.)
