Laura Hudock

Laura Hudock is an associate professor at Framington State University in Massachusetts who teaches literacy and children's literature courses. Her research examines children's literature selected for language arts instruction in elementary schools. 

Scheduled events:
Award-Winning Books for K-8 Readers
This session will highlight award-winning books of fiction, nonfiction and poetry for children in grades K-8. The books will be presented by the NCBLA committee who selected these books due to their appealing format, enduring quality, focus on language and invitation for child response. The committee will share about the books and instructional strategies. The 2025 award list of books will be announced.
