Prisca Martens


Prisca Martens taught kindergarten through third grade for 17 years and currently teaches literacy courses at Towson University. She has been exploring how writing and art in picturebooks push young children’s thinking, creativity, and language and literacy development.

Books that engage young children can spark their imagination, inspire their creativity and motivate them as readers, writers and artists. Current picture books for reading aloud with young children will be shared.
