Sandra Young, OD as an optometrist and passionate chef has written two eye health guidebooks - "Heal Your Dry Eyes: Nutrition & Recipes" and "Visionary Kitchen: A Cookbook for Eye Health." Eye health and visual performance is supported by proper nutrition through acquiring specific nutrients. Eating for eye health and wellness benefits those suffering with AMD and dry eyes. Amazingly, it also promotes visual skills of top athletes.

Sandra Young received her doctorate from Pacific University, College of Optometry. She is a member of the Ocular Wellness & Nutrition Society. Dr. Young keeps busy creating eye healthy recipes, giving cooking demonstrations, lecturing and writing blogs.
