Whose Constitution Is It, Anyway?


In "The Most Dangerous Branch," David Kaplan explores the power of the U.S. Supreme Court in shaping the Constitution. UA Professor Andrew Coan, a Constitutional law expert, examines broad issues, including those raised in his book, “Prosecuting the President.” As the court becomes more and more political, whose Constitution will it become? The Grouchy Historians, Ed Asner and Ed Weinberger, may have some thoughts about this topic, too!

David Kaplan

David A. Kaplan is the former legal affairs editor of Newsweek, where he covered the Supreme Court for a decade. His other books include "The Silicon Boys," a New York Times best-seller that has been translated into six languages, "The Accidental President," an account of the 2000 election on which HBO’s Recount was based, and "Mine’s Bigger," a biography of the largest sailboat in the world that won the Loeb Award for Best Business Book of 2008....
