Young Author and Young Artist Contest Information

Children / Teen Committee / August 5, 2019

Winning entries will receive $100 in gift certificates; artists will receive a poster identifying all finalists within age range and authors will have their story published in a special book including all winning stories.

PLEASE NOTE: The competitions are co-sponsored by the Tucson Festival of Books and are not school district-sponsored events.

The Tucson Festival of Books will be held on Saturday, March 14 and Sunday, March 15, 2020, on the beautiful University of Arizona campus in Tucson, Arizona. The Festival enters its tenth year as one of the premier literary events in the country. All proceeds from the Festival are donated to local non-profit organizations that support improved literacy in Southern Arizona. More than $1,800,000 has been donated since the Festival began in 2009.
