Mary Langer Thompson

Mary Langer Thompson’s "How the Blue-Tongued Skink got his Blue Tongue" is her first children’s book. Follow Dinky’s journey as he overcomes bullying and acquires a blue tongue! Langer Thompson’s articles, young adult short stories and poetry appear in various journals and anthologies, and she was at the Festival last year with her collection of poems, "Poems in Water." She is a retired teacher and school principal, and a proud member of the California Writers Club, High Desert Branch.
