John Coinman

John Coinman is an award winning singer-songwriter who grew up on the Kiowa Grasslands in northeastern New Mexico. He has recorded 5 solo CDs, had numerous songs in films and television, and collaborated with many artists including John Densmore of The Doors, James Intveld, Michael Blake (the writer of "Dances With Wolves"), Amy Rigby, Tony Gikyson, Troy Olsen, Teddy Morgan, as well as Kevin Costner And Modern West (KCMW). He has been touring and recording with KCMW since 2006. He was the Music Supervisor for the movie "Dance With Wolves." When he is not on the road, he lives in the Tucson Mountain foothills with his wife Jo Andersen, Brown Dog, Meowski the cat, 10 hens and their adopted injured raven Poe.
