Ames Sheldon

Ames Sheldon is the author of "Eleanor's Wars," her first published novel, which won the Independent Book Publishers Association's 2016 Benjamin Franklin Gold Award for Best New Voice in Fiction. She has worked as a journalist for small town newspapers, and she was an author and editor of the ground-breaking "Women's History Sources: A Guide to Archives and Manuscript Collections" in the United States, which helped launch the field of women's history in the late 1970s. She lives in Minnesota.
