Terry Filipowicz has spent most of her career in television news as a writer and producer. She's vice president of communication and production for a book publisher and the founder of an organization which provides communication, writing and public relations services to those involved in education and the creative industries. She teaches digital arts, communication, journalism and technical writing at a college. She has also worked in communications for two universities. She serves on the editorial advisory board for the Independent Book Publishers Association's monthly magazine, is the internal and external communications board member for Public Relations Society of America's Southern Arizona Chapter, serves on Tucson Festival of Books' Publishing and Movie/ TV Business genre committee and recently joined the advisory board of a documentary film about giftedness. She’s building what she calls an education and media EMPIRE and her life is about connecting people with other people and helping them draw out and use their talents to change the world.
