Heidi Elizabeth Blankenship

Heidi Elizabeth Blankenship grew up with wilderness on the horizon in Wellsville, Utah. After receiving a B.S. in English, she became a ranger and has had the good fortune to serve for state and federal agencies on the Colorado Plateau and in the Sonoran Desert. Her book, "Memorizing Shadows: Inspiration from the Arizona Trail" was published by Shanti Arts in 2017. Her poetry has appeared in Manifest West, Going Down Grand: Poems from the Canyon, Pilgrimage, The Fourth River, Matter Journal and others. She lives among the saguaro in Arizona.
