Katayoun Medhat

Katayoun Medhat was born and raised in Iran in a multicultural household and moved to Germany at the age of 14. She studied anthropology in Berlin and London, worked in an adolescent psychiatric unit, learning much about human resilience. She trained as a psychoanalytic psychotherapist. A Ph.D. in medical anthropology led her to the southwest and the Navajo Nation.

Medhat lives in England and is currently writing "Lacandon Dreams," the second in the Milagro Mystery series. Her current book is "The Quality of Mercy."
