Jeffrey J. Mariotte is the award-winning author of more than sixty novels, the most recent of which are the thrillers NCIS: New Orleans: Crossroads, NCIS: Los Angeles: Bolthole, and horror / steampunk / western hybrid Deadlands: Thunder Moon Rising, set in an alternate southeastern Arizona. Other novels include the science / thriller / horror novel "7 Sykos" -- a collaboration with wife and writing partner Marsheila Rockwell -- and thrillers "Empty Rooms" and "The Devil's Bait," supernatural thrillers "Season of the Wolf," Missing White Girl," River Runs Red," and "Cold Black Hearts," horror epic "The Slab," the Dark Vengeance teen horror quartet, and others. With Rockwell, he has published numerous short stories, with more coming all the time. His work in comic books includes the long-running horror/Western comic book series Desperadoes and graphic novels "Fade to Black" and "Zombie Cop."
