Nicole Walker is the author of the forthcoming books "Sustainability: A Love Story" and "Love in the Ruins: A Survival Guide for Life After Normal." Her most recent books include "Egg," "Micrograms," "Quench Your Thirst with Salt," and "This Noisy Egg." Her work has been published in Orion, Boston Review, Creative Nonfiction, Brevity, The Normal School and other places. She is a recipient of a fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts, a notable essayist -- in Best American 2008, 2014, 2015 and 2016 -- and a nonfiction winner of the Best of the Net in 2013 and 2014.
