Becca Gasiewicz


Rebecca Gasiewicz shares her deep love of books with children, particularly kids who struggle with reading. She has a particular interest in informational books as a way to teach content while maintaining a sense of enjoyment. She teaches at the University of Cincinnati and tutors children.

Reading Around the World: Award-Winning Books
This session will feature outstanding award-winning books published in the U.S. that are set in different cultures around the world. These international books were first published in that country before coming to the U.S. and so offer authentic portrayals of experiences in those cultures.
