Dan Hampton

Dan Hampton is a New York Times best-selling author and retired U.S. Air Force lieutenant colonel. Among other decorations, he has been awarded a Purple Heart and four Distinguished Flying Crosses with Valor during his 20-year career as a fighter pilot, and is a graduate of the elite USAF Fighter Weapons School. Dan holds degrees from Dartmouth College and Texas A&M, and is a licensed commercial pilot and divemaster.   

Hampton has published "The Mercenary," "Viper Pilot," "Lords of the Sky," "The Hunter Killers," "The Flight," "Chasing the Demon," and his latest book is "Operation Vengeance." Currently under contract for his ninth book through St. Martin's Press, he has written for Time Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, New York Post, USA Today, Parade, Forbes and Newsday. Hampton is a frequent guest on CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, the BBC, Newsmax, Sirius XM, IHeart Radio and NPR.
