Alisyn Camerota

The Baker Family

Alisyn Camerota is an anchor for CNN and correspondent for The Whole Story with Anderson Cooper.

Her new book, "Combat Love," is a memoir that recalls her search for stability and attachment as the foundation of her family crumbled. Set on the Jersey Shore in the 1980s, Camerota finds the belonging she craves with a local punk rock band named Shrapnel.  The book chronicles her near-misses and misadventures at clubs like CBGB and Max’s Kansas City.
