
Anne Broyles is the award-winning author of “I’m Gonna Paint: Ralph Fasanella, Artist of the People,” “Priscilla and the Hollyhocks,” and the Arturo series. Her newest book, “Eating to Save the Planet: How Veganism Helps Fight Climate Change,” is part of the Books for a Better Earth series. Scholastic is publishing her young adult historical novel “Words Spoken True,” inspired by a Cherokee girl’s real-life journey on the Trail of Tears.
