Retired from the University of Arizona, Chris lives in Logan, Utah. He continues to write, with recent and forthcoming work in Orion, the Los Angeles Times, and Astronomy magazine. In 2024, he organized and led the first all-artists lunar surface analog mission with three UArizona colleagues, spending a week at SAM at Biosphere 2, which he wrote about in Esquire.
