Karlianna Voncil

Karlianna Voncil is pleased to enter the world of publishing with her coming of age crime fiction book, "Led Astray: Part I of the Avia Chronicles." As the first in a trilogy of young adult thrillers, her dream has been to tell engaging, enthralling stories that keep readers coming back again and again.

Voncil has been writing stories and poetry since she was nine, and her debut novel is the result of four years of writing followed by two years of searching for a publisher to give her writing and characters a chance. She has a bachelor of arts in English from Texas Tech University and a master of arts in teaching from West Texas A&M University. For the past four years, she has been a public school teacher. When she is not writing or reading, she volunteers, goes to the movies and spends as much time with her family as possible.
