Carolyn G Healy

Carolyn Healy still considers herself a desert rat, in spite of living in Minnesota for over thirty years. She was born and raised in Tucson where she lived until shortly after graduating from the University of Arizona. “Essence of Petrichor - Perceptions of Time and Place” is a collection of poems about the threads, fragments and fabrics of who we are and the line that exists from our ancestors through our progeny. In addition to her poems, this collection includes excerpts of original cowboy poetry from the memoirs of some of her ancestors who ranched in the late 1800s.
