Tracy Neis

Ohio native Tracy Neis brings her interests in classic literature and classic rock music together in "Mr. R" - a modern reimagining of Jane Eyre with a British Invasion twist. Neis earned her bachelor's degree in English from The University of Notre Dame and worked as a journalist for many years before turning her hand to writing fiction.

Neis is also the author of the young adult non-fiction book, "Extraordinary African American Poets." She has written a play about the Beatles that will be performed this summer in Liverpool, England. Tracy is presently working on a series of sequels to "Mr. R" that brings the other Bronte sisters' novels into the modern era.
