Richie Hofmann's new book of poems is "A Hundred Lovers." He is also the author of "Second Empire," and his poetry has appeared recently in The New Yorker, The New York Review of Books and The Yale Review. A former Wallace Stegner Fellow, he teaches at Stanford University.
