Karen Gibson is a retired professor who now dedicates her time to writing. She spent a couple decades teaching English and Speech Communication to middle and high school students before joining the faculty of the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh as a member of the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy.
Growing up in a family of ten, she has no shortage of fun stories and memories, most of them involving too many siblings in the back of a station wagon breathing on one another. She enjoys sharing her work and stories with a variety of audiences and is a popular motivational speaker.
Karen divides her time between Wisconsin and Arizona (for obvious reasons!) When she isn't reading or writing, she is cheering on the Wisconsin Badgers, Milwaukee Brewers and the Green Bay Packers. She spends as much time as humanly possible with her favorite people--her children and grandchildren.
