Erik Christopher Martin (He, him, they, them)


Erik Christopher Martin (he/him/they/them) lives and writes in San Diego. They're the author of the Dotty Morgan Supernatural Sleuth paranormal mystery series. Book One, "The Case of the French Fry Phantom" won a Firebird Book Award in 2023. Book Two, "The Case of the Zombie Ninjas," is debuting at the Tucson Festival of Books. In addition to writing books for younger readers, Erik's short stories for adult readers have appeared in numerous anthologies and journals. Erik belongs to the SCBWI and the San Diego Writers and Editors Guild (SDWEG). He's passionate about creating stories that feature diverse characters where diversity is not the focus. Erik enjoys theater, TTRPGs, and he's a recent dog uncle. Erik has had a lifelong affair with reading. He's a former indie bookstore owner, library employee and slush reader for a professional market horror magazine.
