Brendan Wenzel is a New York Times best-selling author and illustrator with great affection for all things furred, feathered and scaly. When not creating books for children, he is a proud collaborator with many groups working to protect and conserve wild places and creatures. Wenzel's book, "They All Saw a Cat," received a 2017 Caldecott honor. His new book is "Two Together."

Changing Perspective/Opening Possibility
Picturebooks use images and words to shift perspective in ways that open new possibilities in the lives of characters. These award-winning author/illustrators portray changing perspectives include self-acceptance, openness to new experiences, and differing viewpoints of the same experience.
