Ben Mason has been a performing musician since he was thirteen. He has been signed to publishing companys in Nashville, New York and L.A. He was on Lifesong Records, RCA/Sunberry Dunbar, written two nationally aired film scores for NBC, appeared as a musical guest on the Today Show, won the Grand Prize in the Mid-Atlantic Songwriting Contest, took third place in American Songwriter Magazine's lyric contest in 2023, appeared on over 100 albums, has released four CDs of his own material, and has had several of his songs on national television.
He lives on the site of a 3000 year old native American village, on a river in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. He is also a mixed media constructionist, and continues to perform, playing piano and writing songs about his life and the world around him.
His memoir, "Sex, Trucks, and Rock n' Roll...A Spiritual Journey" was released by W Brand Publishing in January 2024. It spans fifty years of his present lifetime, from his transistion as a touring rocker to the founder of a moving company and an artistic repair business, while his spiritual awakening led him to fatherhood and the sacred land he resides on in Virginia.
