Rebecca Bach-Lauritsen is a best-selling Danish writer. She authored several acclaimed children's books after graduating from the Danish Academy for Children's Literature in 2010. Her books have been translated into multiple languages, and she has won several awards for her work writing and hosting a children's TV show for the Danish Broadcasting Corporation. Currently, she holds the position of Head of Education at the Cross-Media School of Children's Fiction. She lives with her husband and children in Freetown Christiania, Copenhagen, Denmark. The publication of "Out of the Blue" marks her U.S. debut.
