A fresh new spin on the diary format, The Mostly True Diary of a Kinda Cool Kid series will have you in stitches with laugh-out-loud writing and hilarious illustrations.
Chase Cash’s popularity levels are so low, they’re basically underground. Chase knows he’s the funniest kid at North Bueller Middle School, so why does everyone seem to think he’s embarrassingly dorky?? They must be confused . . . but if he could score a coveted invite to Sophie Charles’s start-of-year party, everyone ― especially a certain ex-best friend who ditched him for a cooler crowd ― would have to admit he’s the coolest kid in school!
Luckily, Chase always has a plan, and even when he’s down, you can never count him out. Follow along in his highly-illustrated journal as he recounts his hilarious (and hilariously wack) attempts to survive middle school and be the popularity god he’s sure he was born to be. More/less
