E.A. Hanks, author of the bestselling "The 10, a Memoir of Family and the Open Road," graduated from Vassar College and has written for The New York Times, Vanity Fair, The Guardian and Huffington Post. The daughter of Tom Hanks, she initially lived with her unstable mother before being united with her father. "The 10" chronicles a cross-country trip she took with her mother when she was a young girl. She lives in Los Angeles with her partner.
