David Litt, the former senior speechwriter for President Barack Obama, has been described as the president's comic muse for his work on White House Correspondents’ Dinner monologues. Litt released "Thanks, Obama" in 2018 and, most recently, "It's Only Drowning." He also has written for The New York Times, The Atlantic, The Washington Post, Los Angeles Times and Cosmopolitan. He and his wife divide their time between Washington and Asbury Park, NJ.
