Tucson, beautiful desert city full of readers and writers, loves welcoming presenting authors who have new books in Fiction (including genre fiction), Children & Teens, Current Events, Science, Sports, and many additional non-fiction categories.
The Book and Author Committee of the Tucson Festival of Books works year-round to identify presenting authors for the festival, to be held March 13-14, 2027.
Presenting Authors and Publicists will be invited to submit their books for consideration beginning in July . Please subscribe to our newsletter or return to this webpage for the application form.
Self-nomination Deadline: September 8, 2026
Submission Guidelines:
We welcome nominations from authors and their publicists.
Members of the public are welcome to contact their favorite authors directly to encourage them to consider Tucson Festival of Books in their travel plans.

If you submit this form and we determine that you are only eligible to participate as an Indie author, we will contact you to make that suggestion and request next steps if you would like your application to be reviewed.
